Swift Kick Computers engages in a number of environmental initiatives, striving to not just reduce the environmental impact of running a business but to have little to no impact. Given that computers are not the most environmentally friendly products in the market this presents quite a challenge. Therefore, finding every way possible to reduce or eliminate our business impact is paramount. This philosophy is not simply a business strategy for Swift Kick Computers. It's a way of life.

Starting with waste management - we generate zero waste. Every material handled by Swift Kick Computers is recycled, including all plastics and Styrofoam. Old computers and parts are repurposed, refurbished, free-cycled or recycled, keeping environmentally toxic computers and parts out of the garbage and landfills. 

A converted Jetta Diesel, fueled efficiently with used veggie oil, provides most of our on-site transportation needs. Our carbon footprint is reduced by avoiding fossil fuels and re-using a waste product. Our fuel choices save you money and help the planet. From time to time you'll see me zipping by on my wife's electric bike.

At Swift Kick, all our office paper is 100% recycled, all promotional materials are printed on FSC certified paper and printed at Fotoprint, a local environmentally conscious printing company. Our non-toxic company guidelines include (but not an inclusive list) scent and allergen-awareness, earth-friendly cleaning products and office furniture, Xylene (scroll down to Health Effects) free AusPen white board pens. Even our business banner has been printed by a sustainable printer, Green Print Studio's here on the Island. We endeavour to maintain our guidelines when we visit you in your workspace.
